By coincidence, it appears both Meyer Mayoff's family (Abr) and Moe Mayoff's family (Sam) each used a similar recipe for years. It wasn't until 2003 that we realized we really had something here. It is a most simple recipe and yet extremely refreshing on a hot summer day.

Quantities are not provided as your taste will dictate how you like it.

• Clean strawberries (we always prefer Dricoll strawberries), with the top greenery removed,
• Sour cream,
• Sugar.

Sugar and sour cream amounts to satisfy taste preferences.

Puree strawberries in a blender along with sour cream and sugar, to liquefy. Served chilled. Yummy. Submitted by Bernie Mayoff and Art Mayoff

Just a note: I have found that I prefer using soft "Ripe" strawberries rather that firm ones. Also defrosted frozen strawberries release lots of liquid, which in turn enhances the soup. Art Mayoff
